Tobias has considerable experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Following his appointment to the Birmingham Law Society Council, Tobias is closely involved in the direction of the Society, debates and lobbying.
Tobias advises both individuals and businesses and undertakes Claimant and Defendant work. His practice includes advice on financial services law, enforcement and insolvency. He is a specialist and leader in respect of enforcement of Financial Ombudsman Service and Tribunal decisions.

Tobias conducts his own advocacy in the County Court and, where appropriate, in the High Court. He has forged strong working relationships with both Counsel and service providers such as process servers and investigators, which significantly benefits his practice of litigation.

Tobias prides himself as being a consumer champion and regularly takes part in consultations of interest to his specific areas of expertise.
